Tamahere Lions Club Support Child Cancer Foundation
On Friday 14 March and Saturday 15 March 2026, the Tamahere Lions Club collected donations for the Child Cancer Foundation outside Hillcrest New World.
Thank you to the store and the local community for your generosity and support. Every donation helps Kiwi children and their families facing childhood cancer.
Tamahere Lions Tidy Up at the Cancer Society's Lions Lodge
On Sunday, 9th November, our Tamahere Lions team rolled up their sleeves to help out at the Cancer Society's Lions Lodge in Hamilton. We spent the morning tidying up the gardens along the driveway leading to the back of the Lodge and along the carpark are behind the building.
The Lodge provides a vital service to people undergoing cancer treatment, and we're proud to support them in any way we can. A big thank you to all our team who gave up their time and energy to make a difference.
Our 10 Year Anniversary
On 18th October 2025, the Tamahere Lions Club marked a significant milestone—its 10th anniversary. To commemorate this special occasion, current and former members of the club came together for a memorable evening of celebration. The event took the form of a dinner gathering, where attendees shared stories, reflected on the club's achievements over the past decade, and celebrated the enduring spirit of community service that defines the Tamahere Lions Club. It was a night filled with camaraderie, laughter, and appreciation for the contributions of all members—past and present—who have helped shape the club into what it is today.
